An exploration of shared imaginings, embodied fictions, and the poetic gestures of moving together across screens and realities. This lecture will be part of “Contemporary Somatics – Bodies Today // somatic art symposium” in Budapest, organized by the powerful Bernadett Jobbágy and Onopordum Performance !
A gathering that brings together artists and researchers who think, talk, move, feel, and propose processes of embodiment through hybrid creation.
This presentation offers a reflection on cine-choreographic creation through the screendance “Holding Nostalgia”. Through a sensitive and embodied approach, we explore the relationships between body, camera, space, sound, and environment. By de-hierarchizing the links between the animate and the inanimate, the real and the fictional, the human and the invisible, screendance becomes a space for experimenting with new aesthetic, political, and poetic forms of cohabitation. The film engages with somatic states, vibrations, frequencies, intimate landscapes, and the potential for de-/re-/corporealization. It aims to imagine visual, tactile, and sonic utopias, to weave shared narratives in motion, and to propose sensory montages that open up alternative ways of co-habiting the world — together.
